The Museum Shop is celebrating PA German culture with an outstanding selection of redware pottery, scherenschnitte (scissors cutting), frakturs and more, all by local artists. Stop by to see the special pieces we’re offering to complement the Museum’s exhibit of Arts of the PA Germans.

8th Annual Art of the Craft

The 8th Annual Art of the Craft will be held Saturday, November 20 from 11 a.m to 5 p.m. (Members ONLY Preview from 9-11 on Saturday) and Sunday, November 21 from noon to 5 p.m. Art of the Craft is an Invitational Show featuring contemporary and traditional artisans.

Admission per day is $8 Adults (18-60), $6 Seniors/Children/Students (w/ID), and Museum Members free. Join at the door! Get free admission and all other benefits. All proceeds benefit the Reading Public Museum. For details and a list of this year's participating artisans, click here.

THE MUSEUM SHOP SPECIALIZES IN TRADITIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY CRAFTS AS WELL AS UNIQUE GIFTS FOR MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN. ALL PRICE RANGES ARE REPRESENTED. VISIT THE MUSEUM SHOP TO SEE WHAT'S NEW!

The Museum Shop is located in the Museum Atrium and is open during Museum Hours - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday 11am to 5pm; Friday 11am to 8pm; and Sunday Noon to 5pm. There is no admission charge to browse and shop. VISA, MasterCard and Discover are accepted.
