- Share our world class collections of over 300,000 works of art and science specimens.
- Maintain the beauty of our 25-acre Arboretum, filled with thousands of rare trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Provide lifelong learning opportunities for children and adults – from school tours to Planetarium Shows, lecture series, exhibitions and the new Family Learning Center.
- Preserve the Museum's renowned collections of ancient civilizations including Egyptian, Greek, Roman and pre-Columbian antiquities.
